The Merits of ZIkirullah

Kunna `inda al-nabiyyisallallahu `alayhi wa sallam fa qala hal fikum gharib? ya`ni ahl al-kitab qulnala ya rasulallah fa amara bi ghalqi al-abwabi wa qala irfa`u aydikum wa qulu Lailaha illallah! farafa`na aydina sa`atan thumma qala al-hamdu lillah! allahummainnaka ba`athtani bi hadhihi al-kalimai wa wa`adtani `alayha al-jannata wa antala tukhlifu al-mi`ad! thumma qala abshiru fa innallaha qad ghafara lakum.Ya`la ibn Shaddad relates that his father Shaddad ibn Aws told him as `Ubadaibn al-Samit was present and confirmed it: "We were sitting with Allah'sMessenger and he asked if there was any stranger - the narrator said: i.e.People of the Book - in the gathering. We said that there was none. He said:Shut the door, raise up your hands and say: "There is no god butAllah." We raised our hands and recited the kalima tayyiba for sometime. He then exclaimed: "al-hamdu lillah! O Allah, You have sentme with this word and have ordered me to teach it and have promised me Paradise for it, and You do not take back Your promise.Be glad, for Allah has forgiven you!"
Abd Allah ibn Salam relates: As wewere travelling with Allah's Messenger he heard the people asking: "Whichaction is the best, O Allah's Messenger?" He said: "Belief in Allah,fighting in Allah's way, and pilgrimage that is accepted." After this heheard a call coming from a valley saying: "I bear witness that there is nogod but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah" whereupon hesaid: "And I bear witness to the same, and I bear witness that no onebears witness to the same except he clears himself of shirk (associatinga partner to Allah)."

The Prophet -- Allah bless andgreet him -- came out and heard the adhan. When he heard the mu'adhdhin say: Lailaha illallah, he said: khala`a al-andad, which means: "He(the speaker) has disowned (the existence of) partners (to Allah)."


Yakhruju min al-nari man qala Lailaha illallah wa kana fi qalbihi min al-khayri ma yazinu sha`ira, thummayakhruju min al-nari man qala La ilaha illallah wa kana fiqalbihi min al-khayri ma yazinu badhra, thumman yakhruju min al-nari man qalaLa ilaha illallah wa kana fi qalbihi min al-khayri ma yazinu dharra."There will come out of the Fire whoever said: There is no god but Allah,and there is in his heart a bead's worth of goodness; then there will come outof the Fire whoever said: There is no god but Allah, and there is in his hearta grain's worth of goodness; then there will come out of the Fire whoever said:There is no god but Allah, and there is in his heart an atom's worth ofgoodness."
Mu`adh ibn Jabal said that the lasthe spoke with the Prophet -- Allah bless and greet him -- he asked him:"What action is most beloved to Allah?" And the Prophet -- Allahbless and greet him -- replied: "That you die with your tongue still moistwith the mention (dhikr) of Allah." Note that Hadith #29stipulates that the best dhikr is La ilaha illallah.

Ala unabbi'ukum bi khayri a`malikumwa azkaha `inda malikikum wa arfa`iha fi darajatikum wa khayrin lakum mininfaqi al-dhahabi wa al-waraqi wa khayrin lakum min an talqu `aduwwakum fatadribu a`naqahum wa yadribu a`naqakum qalu bala qala dhikrullah. TheProphet -- Allah bless and greet him -- said: "Shall I tell you somethingthat is the best of all deeds, constitutes the best act of piety in the eyes ofyour Lord, will elevate your status in the hereafter, and carries more virtuethan the spending of gold and silver or taking part in just struggle andbattling and being slewn in the Way of God? It is the dhikr orremembrance and mention of Allah."

Ma `amila adamiyyun `amalan anjalahu min `adhabi al-qabri min dhikrillah. The Prophet -- Allah bless andgreet him -- said: "A human being cannot do anything that is moreeffective in saving him from the punishment of the grave than the dhikror remembrance of Allah."
Anas reports that the Prophet --Allah bless and greet him -- was once asked the same question as Mu`adh inhadith earlier , and he replied: "Knowledge of Allah." It was then asked:"And which action adds to this in merit?" He repeated:"Knowledge of Allah." They said: "We ask about actions and youanswer concerning knowledge?" The Prophet -- Allah bless and greet him --said: "A few actions are greatly useful as long as there is knowledge;while a lot of actions are useless if there is ignorance." Anas said:"He spoke of this at length This Hadith is confirmed by Hadith #37and by the first phrase of Hadith #17 whereby "the best deed is belief inAllah alone." The Hadith is further confirmed by our decisive knowledgethat the purpose of creation is knowledge of Allah, as indicated by Ibn`Abbas's explanation of the verse wa ma khalaqna al-jinna wa al-insa illa liya`budun "I did not create the jinn and humankind except to worship(= know) Me" (51:56) and the verse fa`lam annahu La ilaha illallah"Know that there is no god except Allah" (47:19).
Wal-ladhi nafsi bi yadihi lawji'a bi al-samawati wa al-ardi wa man fihinna wa ma baynahunna fa wudi`na fikaffati al-mizani wa wudi`at shahadatu an La ilaha illallahu fi al-kaffatial-ukhra la rajahat bihinna. "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, if theheavens and the earth and all that are in them and everything that is inbetween were brought and placed in one pan of the Balance, and the witnessingthat there is no god but Allah were placed in the other, the latter wouldoutweigh the former."

After the passing of the Prophet --Allah bless and greet him -- from this world Abu Bakr said to the Companions:"I asked Allah's Messenger what basic thing was necessary for salvationand he replied that whoever accepts the Word which I brought and which Ioffered to my uncle Abu Talib and which he rejected: this Word constitutessalvation for him." .

Tabarani narrated it from Abu Dharr in the Kabir(7:55), Ibn Hibban in his Sahih (31), al-Hakim in his Mustadrak(4:251), al-Mundhiri in al-Targhib (2:422), al-Haythami in Majma`al-zawa'id (1:18), Ibn `Adi (7:2639), Abu Nu`aym in the Hilya(7:174), and al-Bazzar from `Umar.

Surrender With Humbleness Before Your Soul is Pulled

From the time of Adam[AS] not a single soul has been spared from living longer than an appointed time, history has not recorded any man who has died return to live again in this planet earth. But many has received message through the satellite station of the heart and soul which connects to the world of the death ,after life , the world of underground.

How could this people return in the dream and express and communicate to those they knew of and are close to their lives and transmit information and incidents related to after life. There are incidents of ghosts and reincarnation of images and visions known and reported. Are all these to be brushed off just like that?. We need to think of it seriously and ponder our fate.

Do you think Almighty Allah SWT Has created all of the souls for nothing?. Who has claimed that he will exists for ever and will never die yet death has overcome them.

A Muslim is completely negligent about his death, whereas a believer knows about his death everyday, as he practices the prayers  of sleep that reminds him of death and life which is under the authority of Almighty Allah SWT.A Friend of Almighty Allah known as Wali Allah knows his death is every breath that he takes and releases lest it might perhaps might return not or leave not.

Many of my audiences at various centers and mosques where i have delivered my speech asked me the importance of my regular emphasize on The Knowledge of Secrets , The Knowledge of Reality , The Wisdom , The Knowledge , The Understanding of Divine Knowledge. Firstly i inform them that what Most of the Muslims and the scholars have are only the Translation of Al Quraan and related Hadees supported by many incidents. What is missing is the knowledge mentioned above.

To put it clearly i explained to them , that Secret and Hidden Knowledge [ Known to Almighty Allah , His Prophets and His Walis ] are the Light to the Knowledge of Reality , The Knowledge of Reality is the Light to the Knowledge of Wisdom , The Wisdom is the Light to the Knowledge , The Knowledge is the Light to the Understanding , The Knowledge of Understanding is the Light to the translation. This is classified by Almighty Allah SWT into various groups of levels of Knowledge such as " Ullool ILM , Ulool Albab , Ulool Absaar , Ulool Hikam also as rasheekoon [ the one with indepth knowledge] and Khabeer [ those who possess the knowledge beyond the knowledge of ordinary Ulamas].

As per the level of their knowledge piety , yakin , ikhlas and tauhid differs and the degree also differs.

Oath Of Allegiance

We should first identify the right mursheed as a guide to lead us in the path of Almighty Allah SWT , that has indepth knowledge of [Rabbaniyah , Rohaniyah, Uloohiyah , Rububiyah].

Then we shall sit for several sessions confirming that the mursheed is following is shariah , without sharia no matters however high is their knowledge of Marifah and Haqiqah m it has no value in the eyes of Almighty Allah SWT. The Holy Prophet SAW has achieved the highest Marifaah - the Divine Knowledge yet until the last breath of the Holy Prophet SAW , not a single rule of sharia has been missed.Therefore we must follow only the guides that emphasizes strongly on sharia without even even giving the slightest insignificance to the laws of sharia.

Refer to Surah Al Fatah Verse number 10 where Almighty Allah SWT Commands to continue the oath of allegiance to your Ulool Amri [ the one who has authority over your spiritual and religious matters] not as interpreted as the rulers of the daily life matters which are not important to Almighty Allah , the subject matter that is considered a priority is the rule of the religious and spiritual matters, dunya matters are trivial in teh sight of Almighty Allah where it needs no emphasizes as people knows better to handle their worldly matters more than the spiritual matters , humanity since time of the Adam[AS} lacks in the matters that is related to the spiritual and Divine world as they are attached more to the worldly life than the life that Almighty Has promised as a better World.

Almighty The Creator is speaking to us every moment of our lives , He Has sent a heavenly Word ' Al Quraan' - " Al Furqaan' full of His Holy Words , the Most Powerful Words, Divine Commands , Divine Advises , Divine Warnings , Divine Mercies , Divine Generosities , Divine Glad Tiddings , Divine Reminders , Greatly Divine Message for every moment of our lives. To follow , to act on it , to be guided , to be held up with high esteem ,with high honor , with high hope.

Instead we are holding up with high nose on the human fragile commands , human flaw fullness advises, human weakness authorities, human false promises , human misadvertisements , human misleading guidances, teh accursed devils whispering voices , the accursed syaitanic talks , his continous temptations , the evil voices of the Nafs.

Almighty Allah SWT is communicating to us through our hearts and Soul and every moment of our life is a Divine Communication for those who are aware of that Divine Knowledge and Divine Communications.

We Are Earthy and Heavenly being

Every humanbeing is created from earthly material and a heavnly material. His earthly material which is the physical body has to be thrown into the grave upon his expiry but his Soul will travel to its destinations.

His earthly body needs all earthly requirements such as food, drinks , entertaintments ,social life , pleasures and dreams but these are for a limited time and dreams and aspiration must be tailored in length of his approximate period of time of living on this earth. Today , mankind has lost to realize his own reality and status of his period life and have gone beyond to aspire his dreams and aspiration to earn and build excessive ot his earthly requirements , example making all efforts in life day and night to earn millions and billions beyond his normal achievement capabilities and out of his scope of life span, he might not be around to enjoy his earnings or his efforts if he were to die earlier to his fruitful rewards of this life or even if he earns he will not be there to enjoy every penny that he has made , at the end his life reaches an ending entertaining all his temptations and pleasures and vain desires thereby making him at loss of his spiritual emptiness.

We have seen billionaires who have attained wealth to the maximum of their capacities reaching the last point of their lives and feeling empty and a great vacuum that has not been filled , which is the hunger of the soul for peace , happiness and tranquility and the thirst of the heart which has lost all peace of mind and reality.

Every Moment is A Golden Moment

Every Present moment is the golden moment of our lives. If you miss this moment , then you loose a great moment of your life, how to make this moment of Life fruitful , rewarding , beneficial , peaceful, tranquil for your physical self , herat and soul.

Let us see what Almighty Allah SWT Who created our body , heart and soul has to Say. Almighty Allah SWT Says in His Holy Words [ Ala Bizikkrillahi Tat mainaal qulub] - [ Only by Remembrance of Allah the hearts will achieve tranquility] , Peace , happiness , contenment and wellbeing is the vibrations that are perpetrated out of Tranquility.

To spend every moment in breathing Divine name is the Best of all the deeds that one can be assured of in this life and herefater , it does not matter what ever acts or works you are engaged in and no matter where you are , we must be engaged in Remembering Him Almighty Allah SWT at all moments of time and place.

Not only that Almighty Allah The Creator promises those who Remember Him , that He Will also Remember the person who remembers Allah. [ Fazkuruni Azkurukum  Washkuruli Wala Takfurun] [ Al Baqarah Verse 152]. Remember Me and I will Remember you, Be grateful and dont be ungrateful [kufur].

Read carefully Almighty Allah Says He will remember those who remembers Him, When Almighty Allah means He is Remembering those who remembers Him , is a supervision of Mercy , it is a Divine attention , it is a Divine Word of Promise , It is a Divine Agreement that He is indeed encompassing those who remember Him with mercy , peace  and tranquility.

How to achieve the state of constant remembrance ? this we have to learn from those who have achieved the path of Constant Remembrance - The Activation of the Heart's Zikir [ Refer to our regular Classes and sessions on Zikirullah Akbar and Zikirullah Ala Dawam [ The State of Constant Remembrance - how to activate it and maintain it until we breath our last ]

May Allah SWT includes us amongst those who remembers Him always . [ Indeed The remembrances of Almighty Allah is the Greatest amongst all deeds- Surah Al Ankaboot Verse 45].
